Evan grew up in beautiful Charlotte, NC, where she discovered her love for song and dance after gleefully receiving a Barbie Radio for Christmas at age 6. From there it was a fascination with her VHS tape of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," directing her younger brother and sister in "fireplace shows" in the family room, and eventually participating in her middle school production of Bye Bye Birdie. The Charlotte theatre community became her second family in high school, and her parents did, indeed, come around and allow her to study the arts in college. After receiving a Musical Theatre degree from James Madison University, she moved to New York City. Since then, she has performed at esteemed theatres nationwide including Ogunquit Playhouse, Flat Rock Playhouse, Axelrod PAC, and ACT of CT. She recently closed the national tour of My Fair Lady with her husband, Jackson. She is sang and danced in the ensemble and covered the iconic role of Eliza Doolittle!
She wants to share in art that enables listening ears to find joy, grow in empathy, and love big. "Performance has the unique power to plant monumental ideas, heal broken hearts, and bring strangers together through shared tears and laughter." There is nothing else she would rather be a part of.
